Jade Cargill to get revenge on big star after injury, huge WrestleMania challenge? - 4 ways The Storm can return to WWE
WWE has several great athletes and major stars. In fact, an argument could be made that the roster is more stacked with top superstars than it has been in over two decades. That's a good thing, as they need talents, especially when injuries take place.
Unfortunately, one big name is down and out for the time being. Jade Cargill is one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, but on SmackDown, she was shown beaten and brutalized, lying on top of a car. It has since come out that she's legitimately injured.
While it isn't yet clear who attacked The Storm, her absence will certainly be felt. Regardless, instead of dwelling on her being away currently, fans can instead look forward to the impact she'll make upon her return.
Below are four ways Jade Cargill can return to WWE:
#4. Jade Cargill could return to television and try to figure out who assaulted her
A classic whodunit angle is always fun in any line of media, but especially pro wrestling. Two great examples include Mick Foley trying to find out who hit Stone Cold Steve Austin with a car and Triple H trying to discover who assaulted Shawn Michaels in the parking lot.
When Jade Cargill returns to WWE television, she could be on a mission to find out who laid her out. The Storm may have been hit from behind or knocked out and thus might have no clue about who could be responsible for the attack.
Nick Aldis was already hot on the case on SmackDown, questioning Nia Jax over it. If he doesn't get any answers, it may be up to the powerful Jade Cargill to go through the locker room to figure out who was responsible for the heinous assault.
#3. She could reveal Bianca Belair was her attacker and make a WrestleMania challenge
The previous entry mentioned Triple H looking for Shawn Michaels' attacker. That angle took place in 2002 and The Game was accusing just about anyone for it. In what was a shocking moment, it was actually revealed to be Triple H himself who attacked his WWE friend.
A similar story could play out between Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. The friends and partners have issues brewing between them, with even Liv Morgan trying to sow seeds of animosity between the pair. If those seeds were planted correctly and Bianca was the one who attacked Jade, it could lead to quite the comeback.
The Storm could return and immediately confront Bianca Belair. Not only could she go toe-to-toe with her partner, but Jade could challenge Belair to a fight at WrestleMania 41. This would allow for a dream match to finally take place but with an exciting story included.
#2. Jade Cargill could move to RAW if the tag titles are vacated
As noted, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are friends. More than that, the two are partners. The pair are the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions and they're in their second reign as champions together.
Unfortunately, their second reign may end without a proper conclusion. If Jade is injured badly enough, she may have to vacate the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. If that happens, Jade may seek a completely new beginning.
When Cargill returns to television, she could just return to RAW instead. Without titles tying her to SmackDown, she could go there to avoid being assaulted and focus on a singles career with a whole new crop of opponents.
#1. She could challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship
Nia Jax is the top dog on Friday Night SmackDown. She is the WWE Women's Champion, with this being her first reign. She won the title by defeating Bayley at SummerSlam after becoming Queen of the Ring.
So far, Nia has been a dominant champion. The likes of Bayley, Naomi, and Michin have all fallen to the WWE Women's Champion. She will need a new challenger just about every month and this could be where Jade Cargill comes in.
When The Storm returns to television, she could do so by challenging Nia Jax for the world title. This would be Jade's first real shot at a world championship and it could lead to her decimating the monster and hitting The Jaded, securing the biggest victory of Cargill's career.
