Jeff Hardy to return to the WWE in 2016?

Will this be a familiar sight (with the WWE Tag titles) in the year 2016?

Speculations have been flying around about WWE’s interest in getting Jeff and Matt Hardy back into their fold, that would give the tag team division a whole different dynamic.

According to ProWrestling.net, the Charismatic Enigma was heard telling people at the Wrestlecade event that he was indeed up for another run in his former company. He even added that he was interested in working a full-time schedule – something that wasn’t the case earlier.

According to Joe Burgett from Inquisitr, Hardy’ possible WWE return wouldn’t be happening anytime soon. This is because Hardy is set to go under the knife to fix lingering injuries and would only be available to get back to action during the summer of 2016, which leaves a SummerSlam return a viable possibility.

WWE showing interest in getting Hardy back is great news for the WWE Universe, who for long have been clamouring for a return of the Hardy Boyz. The return of the Dudley Boys sparked off rumors of the possible return, and now those rumors have been supported with some much-needed fuel.

It was also noted that if Jeff is not fit enough to make a return, Matt Hardy would be signed up to NXT and would wrestle at the developmental until his brother is fit to return to in-ring action, though, these are just rumors at the moment.

WWE seems to be making conscious efforts to get the fans to tune into RAW, and the tried and tested way is to get big name fan favorites back into their roster.
