Jeff Hardy to undergo surgery, details on future
Jeff Hardy, who has been in the wrestling business for 20 years, is a relatively young man, but with a lot of miles on his body with regards to wear & tear. Owing to his highflying, death-defying, risque style of wrestling, the ‘Charismatic Enigma’ has had a number of surgeries done on him.
The latest reports indicate that Hardy is set to undergo another surgery soon, this time on his knee. Not a lot of details are available as of now except that the timetable for his return will be clear only after the surgery.
It is also interesting to note that Jeff has been telling his friends how he wouldn’t be able to wrestle his usual style that he has worked in the past, owing to the injuries he has accumulated over the years.
Hardy is among the top babyfaces in the industry right now and a large amount of that popularity can be attributed to the wrestling style of his which has seen him in classic matches both in tag-team and singles settings. It remains to be seen how much of a change will be incorporated in Jeff’s in-ring style.
The surgery is expected to keep Hardy out of action until late 2016. It is known that the Hardy brothers’ deal with TNA is to end in 10-12 weeks.
