Jericho reveals original Night of Champions plan

On the latest edition of Talk Is Jericho onPodcastOne.com, Chris Jericho talked about his latest WWE run and revealed that he was originally scheduled to wrestle Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. He reveals that Vince McMahon wanted him to face Seth Rollin but later changed his mind and made him face Randy Orton.

Jericho him and Orton had great chemistry together and his Orton at Night of Champions and with Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam were his two best matches in his latest WWE run. He noted that he “kind of” pulled his groin while facing Orton at Night of Champions.

Jericho said would have stuck around longer but he has to go on tour with Fozzy but might be “back sooner than you think”.
