Jerry "The King" Lawler piledrives female wrestler to win return match
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was victorious in his in-ring return at last night’s !BANG! TV Taping in Ocala, FL. Here is the official press release for the event:
Jerry “The King” Lawler pile-drives Hollywood Heather for victory
Jerry “The King” Lawler was declared in excellent physical condition. Final clearance for “In Ring Performance” was given after a blood pressure examination at ringside by Funking Conservatory Wrestler and Physician from Russia, Dr. Andrew Kontantinov assisted by Dory Funk’s personal nurse Julie Kraynack and assistant Nurse Chika.
Jerry “The King” Lawler surprised the capacity crowd at the !BANG! TV Sound Stage in Ocala, Florida when he decided to start the Inter-Gender 8-Person Tag Team Match, representing his team mates, Dory Funk Jr., Johnny Magnum and Jessica “Power-House” Hill.
After successful forays against his male competition Cory “Wild” Weston, Quinton “Drop-Back” Hitchcock and Romero Youngblood, Hollywood (6 Feet of Blond Perfection) Heather was tagged in to face Lawler. Jerry responded by tagging his lady partner, Jessica “Power-House” Hill.
Hollywood Heather was infuriated throughout the match that The King would not face her in one on one competition. After 15 minutes of exciting action, Hollywood came face to face with Jerry “The King” Lawler. When Lawler refused to lay a hand on her, Hollywood slapped Jerry Lawler in the face and Jerry responded with the same devastating move that put Andy Kauffman in a neck brace. Jerry Lawler applied the, “Pile Driver” on Hollywood Heather and covered Hollywood for a count of 3.
Winners of the match, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Dory Funk Jr., Johnny Magnum and Jessica “Power House” Hill.
