Jim Ross talks about Hulk Hogan and HBK's possible return in the ring

HBK returns at Hell in a Cell

On October 9,  JR did a Q&A on JRSBARBQ.com where he answered different questions of fans. He was asked a question about Shawn Michaels‘ possible return to the WWE ring. Question was :

“There has been some speculation of HBK returning for a match at Wrestlemania 30, especially given that he is now returning for a guest referee role at Hell in a Cell which some feel is the beginning of a storyline that will culminate with a match at WM XXX. Your thoughts?”

J.R answered :

“It’s the annual ‘HBK to return for one more match’ rumor that generally pops up concerning WrestleMania. I don’t feel that there is any thing to it. Shawn has been adamant that he’s done as a wrestler and I believe him. He’s got nothing left to prove and is staying busy with his Outdoor Network show among other projects.”

One fan put another question about HBK’s work and return. He asked :

“Do you really think Shawn has other projects going on? He doesn’t appear like a guy who’s that capable. Bret Hart actually returned to WWE because he was bored and had nothing to do. That’s the issue with wrestlers unfortunately – they get stuck in this world of wrestling and are lost when they get out. Dwayne Johnson is a rare example on how do get out successfully.”

J.R said he still don’t believe in Shawn’s return to WWE. He said :

“I believe what I said. Shawn’s Outdoor Network TV show is almost a full time gig.”

Hogan Retires from TNA

Again he was asked about Hulk Hogan‘s TNA contract and his return in the ring. He was asked :

“If hogan’s contract is actually over with TNA do you think he will return back to his home at the WWE ? I think the hulksters last match should be where he started and where everyone still loves him… Your opinion ?”

J.R said :

“Don’t know Hulk’s plans but a return to WWE at some point wouldn’t shock me.”

There were a lot of questions about those rumors but J.R still believe that Shawn’s role at Hell in a Cell match will not make him return to the WWE. However, Hulk Hogan is free to return after his contract expires.
