Jimmy Uso, Charlotte Flair and 6 other WWE stars who could realistically return before 2024 ends

WWE has already brought numerous big names back to the company this year. 2024 has seen the televised return of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Naomi, Authors of Pain, Andrade, Shawn Spears, and many more.

2024 has cemented itself in the history books as one of the most entertaining and rewarding years for WWE in terms of business. 2025 is going to be a monumental year for the industry as Monday Night RAW is taking a giant leap and moving to Netflix.

This year saw some of the most shocking moments that have changed the landscape of WWE and will have an impact on the future. As 2024 nears the end, what surprises does the company have lined up for the fans in store?

Without wasting any time, let’s look at the top eight superstars who could be making televised returns before the year ends.

#4. Charlotte Flair and Jimmy Uso could return at WWE Survivor Series 2024 from injury

A lot of WWE Superstars sustained injuries last year and early in 2024, which kept them away from television. Top names in the list are former Women’s Champion The Queen Charlotte Flair and former Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso.

The Queen was listed as a face superstar on the blue brand and actively took part in the Damage CTRL storyline last year. During the December 8, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte was scheduled to lock horns with Auska in a singles match.

However, the match ended abruptly when the former Women's Champion sustained an injury and could not resume the match. A report later revealed she tore her MCL, ACL, and meniscus, eventually sidelining her for months. The Queen has kept her fans in the loop, by providing updates on her recovery through her social media accounts. It looks like she could potentially return to the company soon, most likely at Survivor Series 2024.

The company hosts two WarGames matches at Survivor Series, one for men and one for women. This year, Team Rhea Ripley and Team Liv Morgan from Monday Night RAW seem most likely to happen, and Flair could be part of Team Mami if she returns as a babyface.

On the other hand, Jimmy Uso was kicked out of The Bloodline after WrestleMania 40 by Solo Sikoa, and Tama Tonga. Reports suggested that Uso was written off television due to an injury. There are strong chances that the former tag team champion could return to television to assist Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline.

#3. Alexa Bliss and Carmella could return after becoming mothers

Former WWE Women’s Champions Alexa Bliss and Carmella have been away from television for a long time now, and their absence from the squared circle was for incredible reasons. Both superstars were on time off due to pregnancy, and both welcomed babies and have included their names to list of supermoms in the company.

The stars are now fit to be back on television. Alexa Bliss has shared multiple pictures of herself training and shaking off her ring rust. There are strong possibilities Bliss could join the Wyatt Sicks faction, while Carmella could return to challenge Liv Morgan for the championship before the year ends.

#2. Paul Heyman and The Rock could return as new alliance

The Bloodline saga is one of the best stories that WWE is crafting currently. As The Wiseman has quoted in the past, we just are only seeing the starting phase of the storyline, and there is much more to unfold.

Since Roman Reigns has returned, Paul Heyman has not been with him as his manager. There are chances he could return to the blue brand to assist The OTC against The Bloodline soon, or in a shocking twist, The Wiseman could return with The Rock and stun the world.

Ahead of WWE Bad Blood 2024, The Brahma Bull has dropped a massive tease on his return, and Heyman has also posted pictures of him on a plane off to an unknown place. Speculation has been rampant that The Final Boss and former owner of ECW are cooking something together.

#1. Dolph Ziggler and Santino Marella could return

Former WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler and Santino Marella were two of the most loved superstars in the Stamford-based promotion, and both stars are currently performing in TNA, managing to stay relevant. There is a strong possibility that Ziggler could finally return to WWE just like Andrade did this year, and challenge LA Knight for the United States Title or Gunther for the. World Heavyweight Championship.

Meanwhile, Santino Marella could return to the NXT brand as the manager of his daughter, Arianna Grace, who is competing on the show.
