John Cena pulled from RAW and live events after nose injury
John Cena has been pulled from the live event schedule so he can heal his broken nose, which occurred after Seth Rollins delivered a stiff knee during their RAW match. The United States Champion is also no longer being advertised for next week’s RAW, suggesting the company want to give him proper time to recover.
As on SmackDown, it’s likely they’ll play up the injury during RAW to add some extra intrigue to Cena’s ongoing feud with Rollins. It’s believed the two will square off again at the Summerslam event on August 23rd.
Cena underwent emergency surgery on Tuesday, and according to PWInsider.com it was quite a difficult procedure for doctors because of how bad the break was and how it needed extensive medical work to set.
Here’s the match that happened on last Monday night.
