John Cena's final farewell; Roman Reigns to retire? - 4 Early plans for WrestleMania 41 we know so far
WrestleMania 41 is still more than four months away. However, the Road to The Show of Shows is fast approaching, with Royal Rumble 2025 set to take place on February 1 in Indianapolis.
Since 'Mania is WWE's greatest spectacle, plans are put into place months in advance, as the company aims to deliver its biggest matches on the two-night spectacle. Hence, the rumor mill has given fans a rough idea of the speculated card for The Show of Shows.
On that note, let's look at four early plans for WrestleMania 41, including some that were confirmed a long time ago:
#4. John Cena's final WrestleMania match will take place next year
The Cenation is bracing itself for an emotional 12 months, as John Cena returns soon to begin his much-hyped Retirement Tour. The 16-time World Champion has announced that the upcoming installment of The Showcase of The Immortals will feature his last match on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
There is no confirmation about Cena's opponent in Las Vegas, but Randy Orton's name has been mentioned. The WWE Universe is hoping for The Franchise Player to win his 17th world title at the event, but that seems unlikely.
Cena's match for WrestleMania 41 is confirmed, as WWE has been hyping his Farewell Tour for months. The next few months will also give us a clear idea of his opponent in Vegas, but fans would be pleased if it's The Viper.
#3. Roman Reigns may have to retire at WrestleMania 41
Two Tribal Chiefs will go head-to-head on RAW's debut edition on Netflix when Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa battle to determine the true "Head of The Table." Despite the stakes and "Tribal Combat" stipulation, the match may not be the finale of their epic feud.
A report from Xero News suggested the rivalry may stretch to WrestleMania 41, culminating in a potential Career vs. Ula Fala match. Naturally, if this report is to be believed, Sikoa will likely defeat Reigns on January 6.
The OTC has been desperate to reclaim his Ula Fala, but it has eluded him. The desperation may lead him to put his career on the line at The Show of Shows, leading to his shocking retirement if he fails to defeat his former Enforcer again.
#2. Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair
Tiffany Stratton could be the next big female superstar. She holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, and fans have shown a keen interest in her character.
If the latest rumors are to be believed, Triple H also seems to be a fan of The Buff Barbie. Stratton is reportedly rumored for a marquee match against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41.
This could also mean that the 25-year-old would successfully cash in on Nia Jax before 'Mania to set up a massive showdown with The Queen.
#1. Cody Rhodes (c) vs. The Rock for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41
This one has been in the pipeline for a while, and Xero News recently indicated that Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock is planned for WrestleMania 41. The Final Boss and The American Nightmare have had a beef since early 2024, and the story writes itself.
However, there is a growing interest among fans to witness the long-awaited dream match between The Rock and Roman Reigns, but Rhodes vs. The Great One seems more likely.
The American Nightmare would receive a massive rub from pinning The Final Boss in Las Vegas, and the build would set the world on fire.
