John Cena set to be out for 6-9 months due to a shoulder injury
WWE are dealt a major blow as the face of the company Jony Cena is set to be out for more than six months due to an injury. According to WWE.com, Cena has suffered a shoulder injury and will be undergoing surgery in Birmingham this week. Cena was supposed to challenge Alberto Del Rio for the US Title at the Royal Rumble PPV.
WWE.com reported that “John Cena has revealed that he will be undergoing shoulder surgery on Thursday. The Cenation leader took to Twitter Wednesday night to break the news to the WWE Universe. Stay with WWE.com as more details on the Cenation leader’s condition become available.”

It has been speculated that Cena will be undergoing a rotator cuff surgery and if this is the case, the Superstar could be out of action for 6-9 months. WWE should take this chance to give a push to stars like Kewin Owens, Neville, Kalisto etc.
Already WWE are dealt with the absence of Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton due to injuries and Cena's injury means that WWE's plans for Wrestlemania have been dashed. John Cena was rumoured to face Undertaker in a match which could be the last match for the Phenom in WWE.
