WWE News: John Cena signs multi-million dollar endorsement deal

Rumors suggest that Cena will face AJ Styles on Summerslam

After being one of the most prominent stars in WWE in the past decade and being featured in multiple movies and TV shows, the leader of Cenation John Cena has now signed a new deal to promote, well, trash bags.

As wrestlinginc.com reports, the leader of Cenation has signed a multi-million dollar endorsement deal with the famous trash bag brand, Hefty Trash Bags, as a spokesperson.

He will also be featuring on the advertisements of the brand.

Recently the company released some videos from their latest ad with the following synopsis:

"Hefty's new Ultra Strong Drawstring Trash Bag commercials star wrestler, actor and strong man is John Cena, who embodies Hefty's strength and humor. His character infuses plenty of muscle and a few subtle jabs at his wimpy counterpart, played by actor and comedian Rob Schneider."

Being the face of the biggest wrestling company in the world, It’s nothing new for Cena to be featured on advertisements and endorsing famous brands but could this also be synonymous with him moving away from WWE one step at a time?
