At this year's Best of the Super Juniors finals, Jon Moxley made his in-ring debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling, as he was revealed as 'The Death Rider' and challenged Juice Robinson to a match for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Moxley, who prior to his NJPW debut made his shocking debut for AEW, won the IWGP US Title in his first night in New Japan and then went on to enter the G1 Climax 29 Tournament as well.

As seen during the G1, Moxley would go on to defeat the likes of Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, Tomohiro Ishii, and Taichi, as he compiled an impressive unbeaten run in the tournament but eventually failed to make it to the finals.

Jon Moxley claims that he will wrestle in Japan forever

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Jon Moxley stated that as long as he is in the wrestling business, he will always be competing in Japan. The former IWGP US Champion also said that AEW usually allows their wrestlers to compete for outside promotions and fans will certainly see more of 'The Death Rider' in Japan, specifically in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

"As long as I'm wrestling, I'll still wrestle in Japan," Moxley stated.

What's next for Moxley in Japan?

As of now, fans are patiently waiting for Jon Moxley to make his return to NJPW, after he was recently stripped off the IWGP US Championship due to him not being able to make it to the country due to a typhoon.

However, fans can certainly expect Moxley to compete at Wrestle Kingdom 14.
