Jon Stewart gets his Attitude Adjusted, Sting returns and ambushes Rollins, New Wyatt Family member
Jon Stewart, just a few weeks removed from closing up shop at The Daily Show, hosted WWE's SummerSlam on Sunday night. Slated to simply serve as the "host" of WWE SummerSlam on Sunday, celebrity guest Jon Stewart wound up surprising fans by interfering in one of the main events to a shocking outcome. The Daily Show host on Sunday influenced the Title vs. Title match at the WWE pay-per-view, hitting John Cena with a chair - thus allowing Seth Rollins to retain his World Heavyweight Championship and win Cena's United States Championship as well.
Stewart returned to the squared circle at Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, presumably to explain his actions. He explained he was not there to help Seth Rollins, neither was he there to help The Authority because it was best for business. It was because, in his heart, he could not let John Cena tie the great Ric Flair for 16 championships because for him the greatest champ of all time is Flair. However, all those explanations fell on deaf ears as Cena extracted revenge with his signature "Attitude Adjustment."
“The Icon” is back, and he is coming for Seth Rollins. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had a ceremony planned for Rollins on “Monday Night RAW”, the day after he beat John Cena for both the World Heavyweight championship and the U.S. title. At the end of the ceremony, “The Authority” planned on unveiling a gigantic statue of the champ in the ring. But Sting had other plans. Sting ambushed Rollins and gave him the beating of his life. It appears that Wrestlemania 31 match against Triple H didn’t end their feud. Instead, Sting has come back for “The Authority,” and Rollins might be his best chance to get some revenge. Triple H announced Sting vs. Seth Rollins for WWE Night of Champions:
Meanwhile, Wyatt Family have a new member as Braun Stowman debuts on RAW as the newest member of The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt referred to Braun Stowman as Sister Abigail’s black sheep. Here is the video:
