The Pirate Princess shares a word of wisdom for everyone

What’s the story?

After being exposed to racial chants during the 22nd February’s WWE NXT Live event in Florida, NXT Superstar Kairi Sane has decided to respond to the slurs via social media as the Japanese superstar answered back with a word of goodwill.

In case you didn’t know…

Former World of Wonder Stardom Superstar Sane made her WWE debut as part of the first ever WWE Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017 which she eventually won.

In August of the same year, 'The Pirate Princess' made her NXT debut when she competed in a house show and during her television debut, Sane managed to defeat fellow NXT superstar Aliyah.

The heart of the matter

During this week’s NXT house show in St. Petersburg, Florida, Sane was in action against Rhea Ripley, when a fan in attendance blatantly subjected 'The Pirate Princess' with several racist chants such as “Happy Ending” and “Pearl Harbor”.

However, following this controversial event, Sane herself decided to address these fans and their shameful behavior, via her official Twitter account.

'The Pirate Princess' shared a photo—rather a clip art—of several kids holding hands while standing next to each other around the world.

Meanwhile, as noted, these racial slurs did not affect Sane’s performance as she managed to pick up the win over Ripley.

What’s next?

Considered as one of the top female stars in NXT today, it is undeniable that Sane’s current goal is to capture the NXT Women’s Title in the near future.

However, her rivalry with Shayna Baszler has truly been elevated to the next level as the two women get set to collide one more time, next week on NXT.

Author’s Take

In my opinion, this sort of behavior from wrestling fans is truly disgusting and absolutely shameful, and I hope that WWE takes some serious measures regarding fans like these.
