WWE News: Kurt Angle gives his opinion on the Fabulous Moolah battle royal name change
What's the story?
RAW General Manager Kurt Angle was asked a few hours ago about what he thought about WWE changing the name of the 'Fabulous Moolah' Memorial Battle Royal being changed to just
Angle was posed with a question about the controversial issue when he held his weekly Facebook Q and A.

In case you didn't know...
This week, the WWE Universe were outraged when WWE decided to name an inaugural Woman's Battle Royal that they had planned for WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans on April 8th 2018.
It was first named after former Women's Champion, Fabulous Moolah.
WWE announced this battle royal on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, but fans were not happy that the company named a match after someone who had allegedly 'abused' women when she was training them.
Therefore, after sponsors, such as Snickers, got word of the Moolah criticism from the wrestling community (some fans directly complained to these sponsors) and even some mainstream media outlets, WWE decided to cave in and change the name of the bout to the 'WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal'.
The heart of the matter
When a Facebook user quizzed Kurt Angle about his thoughts on Fabulous Moolah having her name dropped from the Woman's battle royal taking place at WrestleMania 34, Angle replied with the following:
''Moolah deserves my respect. From what I knew about her, she was sweet, kind and amazing as a female wrestler.''
This was a rather surprising answer from Angle.
It was quite unexpected that anyone in WWE would talk about this issue again so quickly after WWE made a statement regarding it yesterday, in which they tried to make amends for their error by getting rid of Moolah's name from the contest.
Stephanie McMahon was the only other person from the company to talk about it, but she gave answer which most fans wanted:
It may seem insensitive to some that Angle praised Moolah and did not condemn her supposed actions when talking about her.
Others may think the Olympic Gold Medallist was just giving his judgements on Moolah based on his own experiences with her and his fellow colleagues' experience with her.
What's next?
The 'WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal' will occur on April 8th 2018 in New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome, at WrestleMania 34.
Angle is set to tag-team with Ronda Rousey to take on The Authority at the big event in a few weeks time.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Angle gets any backlash or unwanted attention for his words on the Moolah and the battle royal name change.
Author's take
It is hard to know what to think about Angle's words.
It took courage for the six-time World Champion to comment on the subject, but there is likely to be a mixed response among the WWE Universe as to what he said.
