Kurt Angle reveals his plans after his TNA contract expires in a few months
– Kurt Angle has mastered his craft inside the squared circle for years. He has been a legend of sorts in the WWE and since leaving it has been plying his trade in TNA.
Angle who also boasts of an Olympic Gold medal for wrestling has an array of different choices after he retires. Kurt Angle writes a blog regularly on his website. He posted a blog on October 18th titled ‘Are You Driven?’ which talks about his passions and his choices to pursue after retiring from wrestling.
Kurt Angle’s contract in TNA expires in a few months and that is the reason why he is pondering over what his next career choice would be. WWE fans would go crazy if Angle returns to the company again and with Brock Lesnar around, they would surely reminisce the days when those two had an amazing rivalry. But this seems far-fetched as Angle wants to focus on teaching after he retires. These are some of the excerpts from his blog.
He talks about his dream to be an Olympic Champion which he achieved in 1996 while also states that teaching is his passion. He has a college degree and would love to pass on his knowledge to other students for years to come.
“I accomplished my ultimate dream, winning gold in the 1996 Olympics, but now that I've accomplished it, I want to use my college education to help others and to teach others.”
He also writes about slowing down now that he has reached this stage of his life and would just contemplate about his future. He says that he wants to help young students and he has a great story to pass onto and learn something from.
He also talks about accomplishing goals and keeping your head together all your life. He says that when you have your head in the game you always create something special. He asks the readers to push towards every goal and always help others and yourself to make one’s life prosperous.
“And remember… push toward every goal that you have, every single day, for your whole life. The day you stop pushing yourself is the day you have given up. So don't give up. Watch, listen and learn, and make everything you do benefit you, your family, and others,” said the Olympic gold medalist.
