LA Knight to face returning 45-year-old star in a dream match after Survivor Series WarGames? Analysing the possibility

LA Knight is currently one of the top babyfaces in the company. Over the past few months, The Megastar has competed in high-profile matches, including teaming with John Cena to take out The Bloodline at Fastlane.

Recently, the 40-year-old star had a rivalry with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, which was one of the biggest feuds in his career. However, another big vendetta could be awaiting him.

We are just a few weeks away from WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Roman Reigns is currently not advertised for the premium live event, which means Knight cannot continue his feud with the champ and will probably miss the event, too.

However, WWE could continue the rise of the former million-dollar champion by bringing in a huge superstar to feud with him. WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is taking place in Chicago this year, and their hometown hero is a free agent.

The company could continue Knight's rise by putting him in a feud with CM Punk. The Voice of the Voiceless could pick up a fight with The Megastar to find out who is the bigger draw in the company.

This could start as a popularity battle and soon become an intense feud that would help Knight become an even bigger star.

LA Knight's momentum is reportedly going nowhere

At WWE Crown Jewel, Knight went into the match of his life against Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Unfortunately, he fell short, thanks to Jimmy Uso.

The loss to Roman Reigns has created a lot of questions in the minds of WWE fans. Many fans are asking, in fact, hoping this is not the downfall of Knight. Fortunately, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that The Megastar will still be portrayed in a strong way, and his push will continue.

"So with LA Knight, the whole thing was that [Grayson] Waller was there to be a guy for LA Knight to get a win coming off of a loss. They wanted to make him strong again, they gave him a promo time. He’s still after the title. It sounded like they’re going to do another match with Roman Reigns, he did the belt motions and everything." [H/T: Ringside News]

Week after week, The Megastar shows he deserves to be here and at the top. He also proves to everyone that he has much more substance than just being a nostalgia act.
