Legend to return with Roman Reigns' new Right Hand Man, big name suspended? 4 predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown this week

After another eventful week in WWE, fans are gearing up for the go-home editions of WWE RAW and SmackDown before SummerSlam. The creative team is expected to leave no stone unturned in hyping The Biggest Party of the Summer this week.

The company has announced three matches for WWE RAW. On top of that, Seth Rollins will give referee instructions to CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Talking about SmackDown, two title matches have been announced for the blue show.

How would things pan out in WWE just days before its biggest event of the summer? Here are four bold predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown this week:

#4. Finn Balor loses against Gunther on WWE RAW

Gunther will lock horns with Finn Balor on WWE RAW. Given the company can't afford The Ring General losing an important bout just days before his title clash against Damian Priest at SummerSlam, he will likely prevail over The Demon on Monday's show.

However, given the caliber of both these superstars, fans should expect the duo to put up a banger tomorrow night. The creative team could even have The Judgment Day get involved to inadvertently cost Balor a win, leading to his ouster from The Judgment Day and a potential union with Liv Morgan.

#3. CM Punk gets suspended on WWE RAW

Seth Rollins, who is scheduled to officiate the grudge match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam, will give referee instructions to both the superstars on WWE RAW. However, fans should expect this segment to turn south very soon.

With both The Scottish Psychopath and The Second City Saint being face-to-face in the same ring, tempers are expected to flare on the red show. Drew has already been trying to get under Punk's skin through his social media posts, and he could goad The Second City Saint into laying hands on him on WWE RAW.

This could lead to the RAW General Manager Adam Pearce suspending the former champion and calling off his SummerSlam match. The creative team could instead book Drew against Rollins for the event.

This could be a smart way to delay the inevitable match between Punk and McIntyre, which would allow the company to milk this rivalry a little longer.

#2. Solo Sikoa decimates Cody Rhodes

The Undisputed WWE Title match at SummerSlam will see Cody Rhodes take on Solo Sikoa. Given The American Nightmare is likely to retain his title on Saturday night, fans should expect Solo to stand tall over his rival on WWE SmackDown.

The new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline has been nothing short of ruthless and dominant on the blue show. The creative team could further raise his stocks by having him decimate Cody Rhodes on Friday's show.

This potential angle would not only spice up the duo's title match at SummerSlam but also establish Solo as a legit threat to Cody's reign.

#1. Paul Heyman returns with Jimmy Uso

The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga will challenge DIY for the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown. However, the challengers could lose the title match due to interference from Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso.

Both The Wiseman and Jimmy Uso were kicked out of The Bloodline, and have a score to settle with the heel faction. While Roman Reigns is expected to return at Summerslam to confront Solo Sikoa, he could have his special counsel and his new Right Hand Man, Jimmy return a night before to take out the rest of The Bloodline.

Heyman and Uso could make their presence felt during the title match to cost The Bloodline a potential win. Following that, big Uce could join forces with DIY to lay waste to the entire Bloodline.
