Lesnar advertised for next RAW, updated match card for WWE MSG special
- PWInsider reports that Brock Lesnar has been announced to appear on the RAW emanating from Boston, MA this coming Monday, a day removed from the WWE Network special in MSG. In what can be seen as a clear fallout from the dropping RAW ratings, the appearance by Lesnar could also help with the ratings and further the Lesnar – Taker storyline with their announced Hell in a Cell match.
When the match was announced for Hell in a Cell, more appearances by Lesnar and Undertaker were to be expected. Below is the word put out by WWE, confirming the appearance:
This October, on WWE Network, Brock Lesnar takes fans on the Go to Hell Tour, including a brand new stop in Boston on Monday Night Raw this Monday, October 5.
Then, this Saturday at 8 ET/5 PT, watch the historic special Live from MSG: Lesnar vs. Big Show as The Beast Incarnate returns to Madison Garden for the first time in over a decade to battle The World’s Largest Athlete. On Oct. 19 immediately following Raw, The Beast will step behind the mic and answer questions from The Texas Rattlesnake in a live, no-holds barred interview on a brand-new Stone Cold Podcast. Finally, on Oct. 25 at 8 ET/5PT, the fiercest rivalry in recent memory will continue at Hell in a Cell when Lesnar clashes with The Undertaker in Satan’s Playground!
- Also coming from the WWE is a confirmation of the John Cena vs Seth Rollins match inside a steel cage for the said MSG live event. The match will be for John Cena’s United States championship.
This should be a series-ender in the feud which has seen both Rollins and Cena tied at 1 win each, from Summerslam and Night of Champions respectively. WWE posted the below on the website:
