Liv Morgan to be betrayed by her closest friend; major WWE star moved over to RAW? Exploring potential swerve
Liv Morgan has taken Raquel Rodriguez to Crown Jewel to be her backup for her clash against Nia Jax. The Women's World Champion is aware that she will need someone in her corner if she is to overcome Jax and Tiffany Stratton.
It's interesting that Rodriguez and Morgan have remained friends since it was Morgan's injury that forced the duo to relinquish the Tag Team Championships. This could potentially be something that Rodriguez is likely still annoyed about.
It will be interesting to see if WWE decides to change some plans due to Rhea Ripley's injury and books Rodriguez to turn on Morgan. Raquel could not only cost Morgan the match but allow Stratton to cash in her Money in the Bank contract as well.
Of course, this would mean that Stratton would have to move over to RAW, but Rodriguez could then align with her and allow her to push forward on the red brand instead.
Rhea Ripley's injury is seemingly legitimate which could cause issues for Liv Morgan
It was recently reported that Rhea Ripley's injury from NXT this past week is actually legit and it could leave her sidelined for a few months. Rhea was originally set to take on Raquel Rodriguez at Crown Jewel but her injury forced plans to change.
This means that following Crown Jewel, WWE will need to think of a new storyline for Raquel and Liv Morgan and it will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger on a face turn for Raquel.
Rodriguez has been injured for much of the year, but it would make sense for her to be angry that Liv Morgan has become Women's Champion as her former partner was the reason she lost the only title she has ever won.
The titles were relinquished rather than Raquel being allowed to choose a new partner, which was somewhat unfair since several others had been given that opportunity.
