Liv Morgan to lose due to former champion; Dominik Mysterio to cause title change? 5 Ways the Women's Tag Team Title match can end on WWE RAW
A major match has been announced for tonight's WWE Monday Night RAW. The reigning Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will put their prestigious titles on the line against Raquel Rodriguez and Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.
The two duos have had issues recently, with Liv seemingly trying to stir up trouble between the champions. Now, after all of their talking, the two pairs will lock up in the middle of the ring with tag team gold on the line.
It isn't clear which team will leave with the Women's Tag Team Titles around their waist, but this article will tackle several ways the upcoming bout could end. This includes chaos thanks to a big return, an accidental mistake, and more.
Below are five ways the WWE Women's Tag Team Title match can end on RAW.
#5. Dominik Mysterio could help Liv and Raquel stand tall on WWE RAW
The Judgment Day is one of the top factions on WWE RAW. The group comprises Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh.
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan are a couple, and they have worked together to ensure the other almost always stands tall. This could come into play on Monday Night RAW tonight.
Dirty Dom could sneak out towards the end of the match and create a distraction that would allow Liv to either get a cheap and quick pinfall victory or allow for her to cheat. Regardless, Mysterio could help Morgan and Rodriguez become champions.
#4. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill could retain clean
The duo of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill is one of the most exciting in all of WWE. Two-thirds of The Big Three have been dominant since uniting earlier this year alongside Naomi. They're currently in their second reign as champions.
To show how good the two are, look at their match at WWE Crown Jewel. Belair and Cargill defeated Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, Damage CTRL, and the duo of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match.
With the two seemingly unstoppable, another win could be in their future on Monday Night RAW tonight. If either Belair or Cargill manage to hit their finisher on Liv, it will spell the end of any hope for The Judgment Day winning more gold. The champions might just win cleanly.
#3. Dominik Mysterio's attempted interference could backfire
Dominik Mysterio's interference on Monday Night RAW feels inevitable. While he could play a major role in the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles changing hands, the opposite could happen, too.
Mysterio could attempt to cost Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair the gold but fail. He could also cheat and get caught, or the chaos could actually distract Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, costing them a chance to win.
This could be big, as it could sew more dissension within The Judgment Day. The WWE faction has some lingering issues, especially with Finn Balor. If problems arise with Liv and Dominik, the stable could collapse sooner rather than later.
#2. IYO SKY could cost Liv Morgan the win
IYO SKY is one of the most talented female performers in WWE and in the world. She can do things in the ring that very few others can even attempt. SKY is athletic, charismatic, and capable of stealing the show.
She did exactly that in a Women's Battle Royal on last week's episode of RAW. SKY won the bout by last eliminating Lyra Valkyria with a German Suplex on the ring apron, which thus sent the Irishwoman to the floor. IYO is now the number one contender for the Women's World Championship.
Since she and Liv have been mouthing off to each other, the Damage CTRL star could show up and cost Morgan the win. This would add more heat to their impending championship bout. It could also add momentum in SKY's favor. A distraction or surprise attack could do the trick.
#1. Rhea Ripley could surprisingly return and cause a disqualification
Rhea Ripley is unfortunately out of action at the moment. The former Women's World Champion was brutally assaulted by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez a few weeks ago on NXT in a parking lot.
While Rhea has been mostly silent since getting hurt, Liv Morgan regularly gloats about the attack. WWE has been somewhat vague in discussing Rhea's injury. However, a proper return timetable is yet to be offered.
This could mean that Rhea isn't as hurt as people think or isn't actually injured at all, and it is all a work. If either of those options is the case, Ripley could show up as a surprise and attack Liv and Raquel mid-match.
If Rhea Ripley attacks, it would cause a disqualification finish, but the titles would not change hands. Ultimately, it would be sweet revenge.
