Liv Morgan's "ex-partner" to return to WWE to confront Rhea Ripley on RAW? Exploring potential shock
Rhea Ripley has returned and is set to address the issues between herself, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW this week. Curiously enough there seem to be several directions this segment could take.
Rhea Ripley has been out of action for several months which has allowed Morgan to move in on Mysterio. While The Judgment Day member is most likely to join Mami, the Stamford-based promotion could call back Morgan's former partner to offer support.
CJ Perry (fka Lana) was released from AEW some time ago and was once part of an infamous storyline on World Wrestling Entertainment television where Liv Morgan was unveiled as her ex-partner during her wedding to Bobby Lashley.
This is one of WWE's most memorable angles and it would be interesting to see if the company decides to run it back this week on RAW.
Could Lana have a place in WWE after her AEW release?
CJ Perry and Miro (fka Rusev) have now separated in real life, which means that the former could easily head back to WWE, even if her ex-husband wasn't hired. Lana was seen as one of the best talkers in the company and was an effective manager, who was an expert at garnering heat.
This is something that could work for her if she decided to return and manage one of many of the Stamford-based promotion's stables on the main roster at present. The Judgment Day could use someone like Lana, while The Bloodline has recently lost their Wiseman, and could be looking for someone to take his place.
There are many more options for the former Total Divas star under Triple H, and if she does make her return on RAW, she could slot in quite well with the rest of the women on the red brand's roster, and maybe even put together her own stable in a similar way to Sonya Deville.
