Lucha Underground News: Former ECW Champion spotted at Season 4 tapings

As per the reports from Pro Wrestling Sheet, the former ECW Champion Tommy dreamer has reportedly made his Lucha Underground debut in their Season 4 tapings at Los Angeles, California.
In case you didn’t know…
Thomas James Laughlin who is dubbed as Tommy Dreamer was best known for his wrestling stint with defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling. He has held the ECW Championship twice and the Tag Team Championship thrice. Other than that, he has also made few appearances in WWE, TNA and ROH.
Dreamer is a 14 time WWE Hardcore Champion and is widely known to have a passion towards hardcore wrestling, thus founded the House of Hardcore, an American wrestling promotion which is based on the lines of ECW.
Heart of the matter
Lucha Underground kicked off its fourth season with many surprise returns and unexpected debuts at the brand new “Temple” which is situated in a warehouse in Los Angeles, California.
The first set of the Season 4 tapings saw the debuting ECW veteran Tommy Dreamer in an Aztec warfare match. Many Prominent pro wrestling figures like Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez also made their returns to the company.

What’s next?
Tommy Dreamer’s contract tenure with Lucha Underground is still unknown. He recently made a one-off appearance at ROH Final Battle to help his longtime friend Bully Ray. So this debut could also fall under the same category as well. We have to wait few more days for the official confirmation from the company.

Dreamer deserves one final long run to finish his career and still has the potential to work in deadly hardcore matches even at this age. If he has signed a full-time contract, then it would be a massive addition to the Lucha Underground roster.
