Major Roman Reigns spoiler; 16-time WWE champion to return from injury soon? 3 things Triple H has subtly revealed for Saturday Night's Main Event

WWE officially announced the return of the iconic Saturday Night's Main Event. The show will return in December as part of the company's deal with the NBC Universe. The premium episode will be telecasted on December 18 on NBC and Peacock.

The show will be at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York. This location is notable for the event as it was the venue where the first Saturday Night's Main Event was hosted.

The Stamford-based company has already dropped a hint: the event will be a must-see extravaganza, judging by the trailer they posted on their socials and the big stars advertised on the card via the event's official poster. It features Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, and Bianca Belair.

With that in mind, we will look at three things Triple H and crew have already hinted that could happen till December before Saturday Night's Main Event.

#1 Cody Rhodes could defend his championship in the main event

The American Nightmare is featured at the bottom of the official poster, which indicates that he will play an important role in the event.

Since Rhodes won the Undisputed Title, he has been a workhorse champion. He has competed and defended his title multiple times at almost every premium live event from WrestleMania 40. The 39-year-old could potentially put his championship on the line in the show's main event.

The American Nightmare defending his undisputed title at the event would be historic. The last champion who did this at Saturday Night's Main Event was John Cena, who put his WWE Title on the line against Edge in 2006 at Saturday Night's Main Event XXXIII.

#2 Roman Reigns could get the Ula Fala back

The Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, made his much-anticipated return to the blue brand last week and rescued the Undisputed WWE Champion from getting attacked by The Bloodline. The same night, the former rivals signed a contract to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at Bad Blood next month.

For the first time, The OTC will wrestle inside the squared circle at the premium live Event since the WrestleMania 40 title loss. The 39-year-old is also featured on the official poster of Saturday Night's Main Event wearing a Ula Fala around his neck.

The render of the Head of the Table with Ula Fala in his neck strongly suggests that before December, Reigns will retain his mark of leadership from the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.

#3 Seth Rollins's potential WWE return?

The official poster also features Seth Rollins, which strongly hints that Drip God is returning to television. The Visionary has not appeared on any WWE television shows since Bronson Reed brutally attacked him on the August 5 episode of Monday Night RAW.

There are chances near Crown Jewel 2024 that the 16-time WWE champion could return and get involved in a rivalry with Reed, who gave him a kayfabe injury. The Australian is currently engaged in a heated war with Braun Strowman on the red brand, which peaked during the latest episode of RAW.

The product is undoubtedly exploring new heights every passing month. It will be interesting to see how things will turn out as next year will be crucial for the company due to Monday Night RAW going to Netflix, and December will be the last month to build momentum for the show.
