Major star to turn heel for the first time in WWE in a shocking swerve at Survivor Series? Potential betrayal explored
WWE's final premium live event of 2024 is set to take place later this month. Triple H brought back the WarGames concept on NXT and then later on the main roster and it is set to return at the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE in Vancouver, Canada, later this month.
While no major matches have been announced for the show quite yet, it is incredibly likely that the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will appear, be it in a title match or a Women's WarGames Match. During that appearance, Triple H might present a swerve to shock everybody: Cargill turning against Belair.
Bianca vs. Jade has been a match that fans have been anticipating ever since Cargill joined the company over a year ago. A heel turn of some kind leading to a blockbuster match seems inevitable and the build towards it might start in Canada later this month.
Fans have long expected the two women to feud, but with The EST serving as the heel. The reasons why the WWE Universe would expect Belair to be the villain are twofold.
From an on-screen perspective, Bianca has not been a heel once since joining the main roster nearly five years ago. The 35-year-old star is more experienced and she can very well carry a match as a heel.
WWE could delay Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill's match until WrestleMania 41
Triple H as the head booker of WWE takes a slow, but steady approach and it has served him tremendously well. Angles including Cody Rhodes, The Judgment Day, The Bloodline, and Damage CTRL have all paid off with The Game's patience.
As a result, a face turn at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 does not inherently mean that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will have a big-time match immediately. While events such as Saturday Night's Main Event in December 2024 and the 2025 Royal Rumble would make sense, the best venue is WrestleMania 41.
WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year. The show will be taking place on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This edition of The Show of Shows will be bigger than ever, as it had the best opening on-sale weekend in the company's history. Given the success of the past, that's huge.
Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill is a dream match fitting for such a big stage. With a little bit of patience, Triple H could book a heel Belair taking on Jade at The Grandest Stage of Them All and he absolutely should.
