Major star won the world championship, serious injury avoided - 4 botches that you missed at WWE Money in the Bank

Traditionally, the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match has been the place for botches and mistakes, which often lead to major injuries. This year, there were a number of mistakes throughout the two ladder matches, with the women seemingly taking it to a new level.

As with every event, there were a number of botches throughout the show and the following list looks at just four of the biggest botches that were spotted by the WWE Universe.

#4. Low blow botch

The main event saw The Bloodline take on Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens and the match was expected to be engulfed by chaos. There were a number of brutal spots throughout and when the referee was taken out, it allowed Tonga Loa to interfere in the match and he botched his only major spot.

Owens was about to deliver a powerbomb to Tama Tonga when Loa crawled into the ring and delivered the low blow, but missed the first time before he then came back to deliver again.

#3. Lyra botches

Lyra Valkyria was one of the highlights of the women's ladder match but her confidence appeared to be knocked when she fell while trying to climb the ropes and attack IYO SKY.

Valkyria and SKY had a number of impressive exchanges during the bout and put their body on the line numerous times, but the spot will be one of the most memorable of the night since Lyra fell from the top rope after it appeared as though SKY's knees buckled.

#2. Zoey Stark lands on her head

Zoey Stark took a lot of abuse from the WWE Universe ahead of Money in the Bank, which meant that she needed to make a statement. Stark put her body on the line several times in the match and at one point, she jumped from the top rope and over-rotated, landing on her head.

Stark was clearly injured from the spot, which could have been much worse if she landed a few inches to the left and onto a ladder, but she was still able to recover and continue the match, where she was put through another ladder by IYO SKY.

#1. Seth Rollins should be WWE World Champion

Seth Rollins knew that if he lost to Damian Priest last night at Money in the Bank, he wouldn't be able to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship again while Priest was champion. CM Punk and a Drew McIntyre cash-in meant that Priest was able to retain his title but before interference, Seth Rollins actually won the match.

Priest didn't kick out after a Falcon Arrow and the referee counted the three in one of the biggest botches of the night, but the referee was able to cover for the lack of kick out and Rollins is now unable to claim a rematch from it.
