Major title change, Rhea Ripley to return and confront Dominik Mysterio? - 4 things The Judgment Day can do at WWE Money in the Bank
WWE Money in the Bank will be airing tonight, live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the same location as Friday Night SmackDown.
Five matches have been announced for the show. This includes two Money in the Bank ladder matches, a World Heavyweight Championship bout, Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker, and The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.
The World Heavyweight Championship match will see The Judgment Day's Damian Priest defend his prized title against Seth Rollins. Beyond that, it isn't clear what else the fiendish faction may do at the big event.
The Judgment Day features several notable names and some attached to the group, but not officially with them. As a result, there's a lot they could do at the show. This article will tackle a handful of things the faction can do beyond Priest appearing on his own and defending his gold.
Below are four things The Judgment Day can do at WWE Money in the Bank.
#4. Dom could enter Money in the Bank if Chad Gable is taken out ahead of time
Chad Gable is set to partake in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match. He'll be joined by some of the most talented WWE performers in the world, including Jey Uso, Andrade, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, and Carmelo Hayes.
While the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion could win the bout, he may not even make it to the match. The Wyatt Sicks have been regularly targeting Gable and could end up assaulting him before the match begins, thus causing Chad to miss the bout.
In a last-minute move, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce could then put Dominik Mysterio into the bout. Given her recent moves, Liv Morgan could be the one to convince the General Managers to put Dirty Dom in the ladder match.
#3. The Judgment Day could help Damian Priest against Seth Rollins
The Judgment Day is finding its footing with Rhea Ripley away from television. The core members of the stable remain Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh. There are two other stars attempting to join the group, however.
Carlito is a prospect in The Judgment Day. He regularly hangs around in the hopes of being "patched in", so to speak. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan is also manipulating herself into the group, albeit much to Damian's dismay.
When Damian Priest goes one-on-one with Seth Rollins, the faction could interfere to make sure The Archer Of Infamy stands tall. While it would be much to Damian's chagrin, the faction is manipulative and likely doesn't want Priest to be kicked out... right?
#2. The faction could shockingly cost Priest the win
In theory, The Judgment Day shouldn't want Damian Priest booted from the stable. He is family. In reality, however, that may not be the case. The faction as a whole, or at least key members of the group, may detest Damian and it could lead to chaos.
Finn Balor and Damian have had issues regularly on WWE programming, but the tension has reached a new level lately. Priest was not kind to JD McDonagh before The Irish Ace was let into the group and is hard on both Carlito and Liv Morgan now, not wanting either around.
This could mean that the bulk of the faction, perhaps even Dirty Dom, could be tired of Damian. As a result, instead of helping the man retain his title, they could cost him the belt to both make sure he's no longer champion and to officially remove him from The Judgment Day.
#1. Rhea Ripley could make her WWE return to confront Liv and Dominik
Rhea Ripley is the one member of The Judgment Day not currently around. This is because The Eradicator was forced to vacate her Women's World Championship and step away from WWE due to an injury caused by an attack from Liv Morgan.
Since then, Liv has tried to fulfill her promise to take everything away from Rhea. This includes Dominik Mysterio, as Morgan is constantly hitting on the former WWE NXT North American Champion. Mysterio is sending mixed signals back to the current title holder.
There is a chance that Rhea Ripley will return at Money in the Bank and confront both Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. This could mean Dom is forced to make a choice, but alternatively, Rhea could make the choice for him and lay both Liv and Dirty Dom out.
