Mami's back on top and an unsatisfying finish? 4 Potential SummerSlam spoilers from WWE RAW (July 29, 2024)

The final RAW before SummerSlam featured several pre-taped promos and a few big confrontations. Seth Rollins laid down the rules for the highly anticipated showdown between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. He said if anyone got physical on RAW, the match would be canceled.

Damian Priest and Gunther cut promos, but The Ring General drew the Champion to the ring by assaulting Finn Balor after the main event. Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio remained on the same page after Liv Morgan vandalized the Judgment Day's clubhouse.

The top RAW feuds were all addressed, but some matches' outcomes were teased. The next four spoilers for SummerSlam could potentially rock the WWE Universe as it heads to Cleveland for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

#4. Bron Breakker dethroning Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn outsmarted an overzealous Bron Breakker at Money in the Bank, but that hasn't deterred Breakker, who has continued his hard-charging onslaught to take the Intercontinental Championship from Zayn.

While the former NXT Champ got the upper hand last week, the current Champ had the last laugh after blasting Breakker with a Helluva Kick. When one star gets the upper hand on a show before a premium live event, it usually telegraphs the outcome.

Zayn outsmarted Breakker once again after beating him once. Bron won't lose again at SummerSlam due to his booking as an unstoppable force.

#3. Finn Balor potentially breaking up The Judgment Day

While he has regained the World Tag Team titles, Finn Balor must still be jealous that Damian Priest did what he could not do last year. Priest cashed in Money in the Bank contract and won the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 40.

Priest and Balor have been at odds a lot during Priest's reign with the belt. The Prince even claimed that his friend had changed since winning the title.

Liv Morgan was instrumental in securing the match that brought the tag titles back to The Judgment Day. Balor has also been sketchy as Morgan hovered around the Judgment Day clubhouse to shower them with gifts.

The former Universal Champion isn't booked for SummerSlam but will surely play a role in Cleveland. Gunther choked Balor out on RAW. He could shock the world by costing both Rhea Ripley and Priest their matches.

#2. Rhea Ripley regains the Women's World title at SummerSlam

By spurning Liv Morgan's advances by telling her that he despised her, Dominik Mysterio regained the favor of Rhea Ripley. Mami's injury forced bookers to pivot to a new Champion.

Becky Lynch won the vacant title but lost it to Morgan, thanks to inadvertent actions from Dominik. Ripley may have eventually lost the title to a Money in the Bank cash-in instead, but we'll never know.

With the Judgment Day on the same page heading into Cleveland, it could telegraph a predictable win for The Eradicator. It would have added more intrigue to the match at SummerSlam if she was still at odds with Dirty Dom.

#1. Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk having an unsatisfying finish

Seth Rollins informed both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre that he was the final authority in their match at SummerSlam. He claimed he'd count as fast or slow as he wanted while also using his own discretion if outside interference factors into the fight.

He also promised he'd take action into his own hands if he was struck. Since Rollins has so much power in the match, it definitely feels like McIntyre and Punk are in for a strange finish.

The Visionary could count fast for one star or call for the bell prematurely, like during the Montreal Screwjob. The feud between The Scottish Warrior and The Best in the World has been one of the best of the last decade.

It needs more than one match to be told, so a false finish or constant meddling from Rollins seems likely at SummerSlam.
