Massive challenge to big name, confrontation with Jey Uso? - 4 things Roman Reigns can do on WWE RAW if he appears
WWE SummerSlam took place on Saturday night. The big event featured over 50,000 excited fans for a seven match card that electrified audiences all over the world. Simply put, the event was fantastic.
Perhaps the biggest highlight of the night, however, came in the main event. Cody Rhodes defended his world title against Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline Rules Match. After interference from Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns made his return.
The arena went crazy when The Tribal Chief arrived. He made his way to the ring and nailed Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch and a Spear, which made the audience even more excited. The Head of the Table is back and heads will roll.
Notably, Roman isn't officially on a brand thanks to being pulled from the 2024 Draft. As a result, he could appear on RAW tonight. This article will take a look at a handful of things Roman could do if he does indeed appear on the red brand's next episode.
Below are four things Roman Reigns can do on WWE RAW if he appears.
#4. He could cut a promo on WWE RAW and establish himself as a babyface
As noted, Roman Reigns made his return at WWE SummerSlam by targeting Solo Sikoa. He nailed the faux-Tribal Chief with a Superman Punch and then took him out with a Spear. This allowed Cody Rhodes to defeat Sikoa.
Many wondered if Roman would also attack The American Nightmare, but he instead gave Cody an approving stare of sorts. Attacking a heel and leaving the babyface alone implies The Tribal Chief is now a babyface, but for now, that is simply an assumption.
If The Big Dog does appear on WWE RAW, he could cut a promo that officially makes him a babyface. He could acknowledge his past mistakes, give credit to Cody Rhodes, embrace the audience, and target heels. This would leave no mystery as to what his alignment is.
#3. Roman Reigns could apologize to Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but he had a tough night at WWE SummerSlam. The Underdog From The Underground defended and lost his prized Intercontinental Championship. Now, Bron Breakker holds the gold.
While this is unfortunate, things probably went from bad to worse when Sami saw Roman Reigns arrive. Zayn was a member of The Bloodline until he had a very physical split from the group. This then led to Sami and Roman feuding, which included Reigns brutalizing the talented star.
Supposing that Roman is a babyface now, however, he could try to mend fences on WWE RAW. The Tribal Chief may see Sami and apologize for how he treated Zayn. In fact, he might even apologize for talking smack to Sami's wife at Elimination Chamber 2023. This could be the start of the two reuniting.
#2. Jey Uso could confront The Head Of The Table
Sami Zayn isn't the only WWE star who was once part of The Bloodline, but left in dramatic fashion thanks to the abuse of Roman Reigns. There may be no finer example of this than Roman's own cousin.
Jey Uso is one of the most popular stars in WWE, but he was once in the villainous faction. Just like Sami, Uso grew tired of the drama, manipulation, and abuse. After Roman and Jey had a match at last year's SummerSlam, Uso moved to RAW to stay away from everything that had brought him pain.
Fast forward to RAW tonight and Jey may confront Roman if he does indeed appear on the show. Uso could still have resentment for his cousin and thus go after him. Alternatively, he could just confront Reigns to try to get answers and find out what The Tribal Chief is up to.
#1. He could challenge Solo Sikoa to Tribal Combat
Roman Reigns attacking Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam wasn't an accident. In many ways, it wasn't a complete shocker either. The groundwork for the return had been laid for quite some time.
Sikoa, the alleged new Tribal Chief, took over The Bloodline in Roman's absence. He violently ejected Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso from the group. Not only that, but he routinely took shots at Reigns during his WWE absence.
While Solo may have claimed Roman was weak while The Tribal Chief was away, he may be singing a different tune with Reigns back. If Roman appears on Monday Night RAW, he may challenge Solo to Tribal Combat. In the past, this was a match that determined who the Tribal Chief really is. Could Roman be looking to reclaim his proverbial crown?
