Massive RAW star to make SmackDown return and confront Randy Orton on Kevin Owens’ behalf? Exploring the possibility
Randy Orton and Kevin Owens had a brutal brawl on the October 11 episode of SmackDown. While The Viper was out there to implore Owens to exercise restraint against Cody Rhodes, he ended up getting snubbed by The Prizefighter.
Their dispute took a violent turn backstage where Owens viciously attacked Orton, leaving him flat on the ground. However, their face-off couldn't happen in the following episode of SmackDown as The Prizefighter had been disallowed from being present at the show.
Check out the video of the brawl below:
Since KO isn't allowed on SmackDown, there is a huge possibility of the return of his former tag team partner who could confront Randy Orton on the show. The star in question is none other than Sami Zayn.
The chances of the former Intercontinental Champion coming to SmackDown are huge because Owens isn't allowed on the show, and Zayn, who is KO's former tag team partner and long-time friend might step up for him, and confront Randy Orton.
This puts forth the chances of a Sami Zayn vs Randy Orton clash at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2. Here, Kevin Owens can play the spoiler by attacking Orton and costing him the match.
This further sets their storyline for a Survivor Series clash. As for Sami Zayn, after the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, the former Intercontinental Champion is expected to join the OG Bloodline along with Jey Uso to take on Solo Sikoa's new-look faction.
Randy Orton might face Kevin Owens at Survivor Series WarGames
The Viper is currently miffed with KO and wants a match against him at all costs. However, his request was turned down by the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, as the higher-ups wouldn't allow it.
Kevin Owens too looks for a clash against The Viper citing his betrayal. In a video on SmackDown on October 19, Owens spoke about how hurt he was due to Randy Orton's actions. The former Universal Champion said that he couldn't believe what The Legend Killer did to him and that he felt betrayed by his friend's actions.

WWE would look to build this storyline at least for some time and their clash could happen at Survivor Series, with Sami Zayn challenging Orton to a clash at Crown Jewel.
Amidst all of this, there are also rumors of KO's contract expiring, which could be a major factor when it comes to his future bookings in the Stamford-based promotion. The former nine-time WWE champion has seemingly not signed any new deal with the company, and it's also believed that the global juggernaut might turn this contract situation into an angle, and book him in a storyline accordingly.
Otherwise, there have been reports that KO is expected to sign a multi-year deal with WWE. As of now, he has turned heel, and shall not show up on SmackDown, but might put forth his views in video clips, similar to what he did recently.
