Massive WWE announcement; ambush major champion? - 4 ways Brock Lesnar could return at Saturday Night's Main Event

WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar has not appeared since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. The American Nightmare defeated the veteran and the two stars shook hands after the clash.

Saturday Night's Main Event will air live on December 14 and several title matches are scheduled for the card. The Beast Incarnate could be planning on making his long-awaited return to the company during the show next weekend.

Listed below are four ways Brock Lesnar could return at Saturday Night's Main Event:

#4. Brock Lesnar could attack Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion and will be defending his title against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. If Rhodes retains the title against The Prizefighter, Brock Lesnar could return to confront the champ.

Lesnar may show up following Rhodes' victory next weekend and plant the champion with an F5. The two stars would then reignite their rivalry, and potentially square off with the title on the line at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.

#3. Lesnar could attack Randy Orton at Saturday Night's Main Event

Kevin Owens brutally attacked Randy Orton last month on WWE SmackDown and hit The Viper with a Piledriver. Orton was taken out of the arena in an ambulance and Cody Rhodes has been out for revenge ever since.

Randy Orton may be planning on returning at Saturday Night's Main Event to get revenge on Kevin Owens. However, Brock Lesnar could make his surprise return and attack The Legend Killer before the latter gets involved in the match.

The two veterans are former rivals who have had issues in the past. Lesnar may feel those are unresolved, and return at Saturday Night's Main Event to attack him to set up a dream match down the line.

#2. The Beast may announce that he will be competing in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match

Royal Rumble 2025 will take place next February and will be one of the biggest shows of the year. The winners of the Men's and Women's 'Rumble earn a world title shot at WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar could make his highly-anticipated return to the company at Saturday Night's Main Event. The 47-year-old may announce that he will be entering the Men's Royal Rumble Match and make it known that he wants to become a major champion in the Stamford-based promotion once again.

#1. The legend could ambush World Heavyweight Champion Gunther

Gunther is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Judgment Day's Finn Balor at Saturday Night's Main Event. Balor helped The Ring General defeat Damian Priest at Survivor Series by interfering in their match.

Brock Lesnar and the leader of Imperium had an epic confrontation during the Men's Royal Rumble Match in 2023. Lesnar could make his return to the company at Saturday Night's Main Event to confront the World Heavyweight Champion. Gunther and Lesnar could then enter into a rivalry culminating in a title match at WrestleMania 41 next year in Las Vegas, Nevada.
