The 2019 edition of Money in the Bank is now in the history books. We had some amazing matches throughout the night, ranging from the brilliant Universal Title match between Seth Rollins and AJ Styles to the amazing main event between all seven competitors.

The fact that Money in the Bank 2019 had to endure a generally uninteresting buildup and competition from other TV shows like Game of Thrones meant WWE had to give it their best shot yesterday.

For most of the night, Money in the Bank was brilliant for a PPV that had to exist between the extravaganza of WrestleMania 35 and the annual Jeddah mega event, this time named - Super Show-Down.

However, WWE made some blunders on the night. On this list, we will take a look at a few mistakes made by WWE at Money in the Bank 2019.

#3. Brock Lesnar's main event appearance

Let's address the elephant in the room. Brock Lesnar is a huge attraction for WWE. But the fact that he is not around WWE for most of the year means that the company should use him only in high profile matches, without championships at stake.

His past two Universal Title reigns are huge examples that attest to this fact. Lesnar barely defended the Universal Title, and even when he did, most of his matches were underwhelming.

In a match involving some of the most exciting upcoming talents who have not held a top title so far, like Drew McIntyre, Andrade, and Ali, WWE should not have given the Money in the Bank briefcase to someone as established as Brock Lesnar. WWE wasted a golden opportunity to create a star and decided to prioritize a part-timer over full-timers.
