Money in the Bank 2019: 3 matches that could steal the show

Who will steal the show?
Who will steal the show?

We are less than 48 hours away from Money in the Bank, which is the first pay-per-view after the Showcase of Immortals. The anticipation is high as some stupendous bouts are on the card.

Money in the Bank will be held at XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. A total of eleven matches are confirmed for the show. The Money in the Bank Ladder match is the primary attraction of the event, as the winner of the briefcase gets an opportunity to cash in the contract anytime.

The women's ladder match was introduced in 2017, therefore, two Money in the Bank Ladder matches will take place this year. Besides the ladder matches, the card is stacked with some awe-inspiring bouts.

The double champion, Becky Lynch, will defend the red belt against Lacey Evans, while the blue belt will be on the line against Charlotte Flair. Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston will lock horns for the WWE Championship, and AJ Styles will challenge the Universal Champion - Seth Rollins. Samoa Joe will also tussle with Rey Mysterio to defend the US Championship.

Roman Reigns will fight Elias at XL Center, Shane McMahon and The Miz will fight in a Steel Cage match, and Tony Nesse will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Ariya Daivari. The recently crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan, will also put the twin belts on the line against The Usos.

With several great matches on the card, some matches could stand out from the rest. Here we discuss three matches that could steal the show on Sunday.

#3 Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch will put the SmackDown Women's Championship on the line against Charlotte Flair at Money in the Bank. The two women have a long history and they collide for perhaps the final time, culminating their feud. There is no denying that the fans are exasperated to see the two women fight once more, however, they always produce stellar matches when they lock horns in the squared circle.

Becky Lynch, who is also the holder of the RAW Women's Championship, has a seemingly insurmountable task on her hands on Sunday. Lynch will defend her two belts against two different opponents on the same night.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have been tussling since SummerSlam last year. They also locked horns at the Show of Shows, but Lynch did not pin Charlotte. Prior to the WrestleMania clash, they also fought at Hell in a Cell, Super Show-Down, and Evolution. The Man and the Queen competed in the first ever last woman standing match at Evolution, and the former was victorious.

Considering the history between these two superstars, they are expected to produce another blockbuster bout at XL Center. The two horsewomen are dexterous in the ring, and the match will stand out from the rest.
