WWE Money in the Bank 2019: 4 reasons why Vince McMahon could hand the SmackDown Women's Title to Charlotte
At the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Becky Lynch will defend her Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans respectively. It’s been currently rumored that WWE is strongly considering handing the Raw Women’s title to Lacey as Vince McMahon sees potential in her. And since Becky will be doing double duty at Money in the Bank, there’s a strong possibility that a title change could happen, but it doesn’t have to be for the Raw one.
Charlotte will also take on her former best friend (also known as The Man) in the XL Center. After Lynch, The Queen is the second most prominent female Superstar in WWE’s eyes, and it’s understandable why she has gotten another title shot. In this article, we will look at four reasons why Charlotte could win the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank by beating Becky Lynch.
#4 The Man can’t do double duty on every show
Being a double champion isn’t an easy task. It means that the Superstar will have to defend his/her titles on multiple same nights. While Lynch is scheduled to do double duty at Money in the Bank, it will be hard for her to do the same on every show.
Wrestlers already get tired after fighting in a match, and since Lynch is a double champion, things are only going to get worse for her. Lacey Evans and Charlotte are tough opponents, and a fight against them wouldn’t be a piece of cake.
It could be why Vince might hand the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte and let Becky remain as the Raw Women’s Champion. It’s also likely to happen because Lacey is still new to the roster and a title victory against The Man will be an early call.
