Money in the Bank could witness some surprising returns!

Tonight we will witness the 10th edition of the Money in the Bank PPV live from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. A total of 11 matches have been announced for the show, including the two Money in the Bank Ladder matches, and the card looks amazing.

This will be the first PPV for WWE after last month's grand WrestleMania 35 and WWE would be keen to make a great start to a new year in their programming.

WWE has been suffering from the issue of low ratings for the last few weeks and one can expect them to come out with all guns blazing at MITB tonight. This could lead to some shocking moments, segments, outcomes, and also some surprising returns on the show tonight.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Surprising returns that we can witness on the show tonight.

#5 Brock Lesnar

Will the Beast make his presence felt at MITB?
Will the Beast make his presence felt at MITB?

WWE has announced their return to the land of Saudi Arabia on 7th June with WWE Super ShowDown. The company has also announced some major superstars for the show with Goldberg going one-on-one against the Undertaker for the first time.

Another huge superstar who'll return to in-ring action at Super ShowDown next month is The Beast, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar lost his Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 last month and hasn't been on WWE TV ever since.

With him advertised for the show, fans are wondering who will the Beast face. In my opinion, there are huge chances of the Beast getting involved in the Universal Title scene again and challenge for the title at Super ShowDown. If that is indeed the plan, a great way to set it up would be to have him return at MITB and interfere in the Universal Title match between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

The dream feud between Styles and the Universal Champion, Seth Rollins has been pretty underwhelming so far, and it's going to be a tough job for WWE to decide the winner of this match as MITB as none of the two can afford a loss at this time.

Brock Lesnar interfering in this match and causing a disqualification in the match can lead to a triple threat between AJ, Seth, and Lesnar at Super ShowDown for the Universal Championship. I've discussed this possibility in one of my other articles, which you can check out here.
