WWE: More backstage reactions over CM Punk comments

CM Punk’s comments on his WWE exit have upset a lot of people

Since his interview in Colt Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast show, CM Punk has made a lot of people in the WWE upset, including Triple H and Vince McMahon. While most of the locker room kept quiet about his comments publicly, Ryback and Road Dogg Jesse James expressed their views in twitter. It is said that most of the WWE talents loved some of the stuff that Punk had to say about the company.

Many weren’t happy about Punk complaining about his booking, when mostly he was involved in better feuds when compared to the other talents over the past few years. The feeling among some is that while Punk complained about having to put over part-time guys like The Rock, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, they would have loved to be in that position.

One particular WWE Superstar, who is said to be a top guy, felt that much of the Punk’s interview came off as “sour grapes.”

Others in the company felt that Punk came off bad complaining about being booked to work against Triple H at WrestleMania XXX, as it would have been one of the very top matches on the show, with plenty of television time for promoting it during the build-up to the show.

Some even agreed with the “two sides to every story” cliche but there was also a consensus that what Punk said about his experience in WWE was the same way others would describe their experience, except for the fact that Punk made more money, and had the guts to say what he said publicly.

His story, while sad, might be a harsh reality that wrestling fans will have to deal with for quite some time.
