Neville talks WWE WrestleMania 32, Owens - RAW

Neville wants to face Owens at WM 32

In a recent interview with talkSPORT’s Gorilla Nation podcast, Neville when asked about his ideal opponent at next year’s Wrestlemania 32, brought up Kevin Owens.

Neville mentioned the WWE Intercontinental title to be among his goals, but acknowledged that he can’t be sure as to who would be the champion by the time the event rolls around. “If it is Kevin Owens, I’d the love the opportunity to do that. I’ve got a lot of history with Kevin.” said the ‘Man who Gravity forgot’.

Neville talked about how he & Owens came up together in the business, with the both men having their first match together when Neville was 19 years old. “So to do it at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental championship would really be full circle and it would be the biggest match I could imagine.” capped off Neville.

Speaking of Owens, he missed this week’s RAW on account of being very ill. Owens, along with his son, reportedly fell ill when travelling to this week’s RAW and was sent back home. It was due to this that he missed the SmackDown tapings too.

However, Owens is expected back on WWE TV next week, to further his feud against Dean Ambrose for Tables, Ladders & Chairs.
