New challengers for Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill; major title unification? 4 Directions for Nia Jax following WWE Crown Jewel

WWE Crown Jewel was a great night for many performers. Seth Rollins managed to overcome ''Big'' Bronson Reed after an epic bout. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retained their Women's Tag Team Title, and both Liv Morgan and Cody Rhodes made history.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good night for everyone. One performer who had a tough outing at Crown Jewel was Nia Jax. The 2024 Queen of the Ring battled Women's World Champion Liv Morgan to determine the first-ever Women's Crown Jewel Champion, but things didn't go quite right for the Aussie star.

Thanks in part to interference from The Judgment Day, Liv ultimately hit the ObLIVion on the WWE Women's Champion and pinned Jax. This essentially makes Morgan the top women's champion in the company, as proven by the new ring she now carries around.

Nia won't be happy with the events in Riyadh, and it will be interesting to see how she responds to the loss moving forward. This article will take a look at a handful of directions for the world champion after her latest defeat.

Below are four directions for Nia Jax following WWE Crown Jewel:

#4. She could betray Tiffany Stratton

The story of Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax has been an interesting one to watch unfold. The two united on SmackDown earlier this year, but things quickly went south once Stratton became Ms. Money in the Bank.

Now, there is regular tension between the two. Many, especially Nia herself, believe Tiffany Stratton will cash in the Money in the Bank contract on her to try to become WWE Women's Champion. It was even teased at Crown Jewel. However, the cash-in never officially happened.

Instead of waiting around for Tiffany to cash in, Nia could strike first and betray her alleged friend. Jax could assault Stratton on Friday Night SmackDown with the hopes of injuring her. If The Buff Barbie is injured, she won't be able to cash in her contract, thus keeping the Australian safe for now.

#3. Nia Jax could lose the WWE Women's Title to Naomi

Nia Jax losing at Crown Jewel was unfortunate, as it prevented her from becoming the first-ever Women's Crown Jewel Champion. However, the SmackDown Superstar continues to remain the WWE Women's Champion.

That said, her time as champion could be coming up soon. In what was a stunning moment, Naomi recently pinned Nia Jax on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. It was a non-title match, and there was an abundance of interference, but Jax still suffered a pinfall defeat.

Naomi will inevitably challenge Nia for the WWE Women's Title in the coming weeks. Based on Jax's recent luck, a big loss could be in store for her. If The Glow hits her Split Legged Moonsault, The Rear View, or any of her other impressive finishers, Nia might just lose her prized belt.

#2. She could battle Liv Morgan again in a title unification match

The match between Nia Jax and Liv Morgan did not go the Australian's way, but it wasn't exactly because The Miracle Kid was the better wrestler. There was a lot of chaos at WWE Crown Jewel, thanks to interference from The Judgment Day and even Tiffany Stratton.

Nia might be frustrated and could claim that without the likes of Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio, and Tiffany Stratton, she'd have won the bout. While The Irresistible Force will never become the first-ever WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion, Jax could do the next best thing.

The reigning Queen of the Ring could challenge the Women's World Champion to a title unification match. Both belts could be on the line, and the unified Women's Champion could be crowned. If there is no outside interference during the potential match, Jax could make history in a different way.

#1. Nia Jax could chase the tag team title with Candice LeRae

An interesting dynamic recently emerged on WWE SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton was sick for one week, which left Nia Jax without a partner for a tag team match against Bayley and Naomi. To the surprise of many, reigning Women's Speed Champion Candice LeRae filled in for The Buff Barbie.

Not only did Candice LeRae fill in, she won the match for the two. Thanks in part to interference from Indi Hartwell, Candice pinned former WWE Women's Champion Bayley. This shocked everyone, including Nia.

With things rocky between Jax and Tiffany, plus Indi Hartwell's unfortunate release clouding Candice's future, a new alliance could be forged on the blue brand. Jax and LeRae could team up and challenge Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the Women's Tag Team Championship. This could make both women double champions if they were to win, plus it might make Tiffany jealous. It could truly be a massive win for the reigning Queen of the Ring.
