New Day's good deed for 92 year old WWE fan, man's dying wish coming true this Sunday
- ABC affiliate WTVG in Toledo ran the story above earlier this week about 92-year-old WWE superfan Alice Boraby. Boraby had tickets for SmackDown this past Tuesday, however, she was unable to attend due to health issues that prevented her from leaving hospice care. The New Day heard about Boraby's story while in studio to promote that night's SmackDown taping and sent a message to Boraby.
"We're going to clap your worries away and make you feel good!" the group said. "We have a special clap just for you Alice and you can join us if you'd like, The New Day rocks, The New Day rocks!... Alice thank you for being a fan. We appreciate you and we wish you all the best. Get well."
Boraby got a kick out of the message, stating, "Wasn't that nice? It sure was, something I will always remember. They are wonderful guys, wonderful guys, they sure are great!"
- News Advance has an article here about Kenneth Fulcher, 71, who after surviving a stroke, a heart attack, triple bypass surgery, lung cancer and colon cancer, was diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer back in January and is only expected to live for two to three months.
Fulcher's wish was to attend a WWE live event and his granddaughter helped make it happen through the Dream Foundation. Fulcher received four VIP tickets to this Sunday's WWE live event in Roanoke, VA, as well as backstage passes to meet Roman Reigns - who is his favorite wrestler - after the show.
