12-time WWE champion sends Adam Pearce a message during Gunther's World Heavyweight Title match; the locker room has turned on him
A formerly beloved WWE star and multiple-time champion sent a message to Adam Pearce during Saturday Night's Main Event, just when Gunther was defending his World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, the star is no longer the beloved star he was and has now seen most of the locker room turn their backs on him.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the New Day, fans thought they would see a split between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. However, Big E appeared just when that announcement appeared to be coming, and instead, the two stars didn't welcome their injured friend. They had no sympathy for the star and said that he had abandoned them despite him having broken his neck.
Given their love for the New Day and Big E, the locker room didn't appreciate this and turned their backs on him. Seeing Big E leave with tears in his eyes, abandoned by his friends, was enough for the fans and the locker room to ignore and boo Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston when they saw them next.
The stars have shown that they want nothing more than to be successful. To do that, they are also willing to go to any lengths. Now, Xavier Woods has taken a shot at Adam Pearce over how infrequently Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defend their World Tag Team Championship, with Balor getting a shot and pursuing the world title instead. He asked Adam Pearce if Balor won the title, would it be another 70 days before a title defense?
"Hey @ScrapDaddyAP if Finn wins the world heavyweight title tonight then is it gonna be another 70 days before the world tag titles are defended again?"
While the fans share this sentiment, the comments all focused on the 12-time champion and criticized him for not having achieved anything independently. Although Balor lost, Adam Pearce has yet to reply.
