14-time WWE Champion to return after 421 days to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match, according to Aiden English
The 2025 Royal Rumble is still over three months away, but WWE fans and veterans have started throwing out potential names who might win the Rumble Match. TNA commentator Matthew Rehwoldt fka Aiden English recently picked 14-time Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair, to return after 421 days and win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match.
The Queen has been on the sidelines due to a severe knee injury. She suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during her match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, edition of SmackDown. The untimely injury required surgery, which forced her to not only miss WrestleMania XL but the entirety of 2024.
However, WrestleVotes Radio via Sportskeeda's Backstage Pass reported that Charlotte Flair would return in time for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling podcast, Matthew Rehwoldt was asked to name his pick for the winner of the 30-woman Royal Rumble match next year. Here's what he had to say:
"Right now I'm gonna pencil in a returning Charlotte Flair," (From 54:02- 54:07)
A current WWE champion wants to conquer Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair is a measuring stick in WWE. Every woman in the locker room wants to get in the ring with The Queen.
One-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, Bianca Belair, recently expressed her desire to get in the ring with Charlotte Flair at The Showcase of the Immortals.
[Charlotte Flair] the last [of the] Four Horsewomen that I've not been able to conquer yet. So, I would love to go against Charlotte Flair. She's one of the main ones that I really looked up to when I first got to WWE. Right now, I'm undefeated at WrestleMania. She's the woman who has won the most WrestleMania wins. So, I would love to go and have a WrestleMania match to compete for the title of Ms. WrestleMania and continue my undefeated streak," Belair said.
Bianca Belair is currently dominating the tag team division alongside Jade Cargill. However, a match between the two friends has been brewing for a long time. Will Belair and Cargill break up down the road? Only time will tell.
