15-time WWE champion praises current superstar who's "probably like Randy Orton"

Randy Orton has become the benchmark for WWE Superstars. The 15-time champion has compared a 26-year-old RAW star to The Viper.

The champ is none other than Nic Nemeth. Few third-generation superstars have made it as big as Randy Orton in WWE. Meanwhile, a few young stars are trying to make it big in the company without using their family name. Bron Breakker is one of the stars who has amassed a huge fan following after his main roster debut. The former Dolph Ziggler faced him during his time in WWE NXT and recently spoke about the 26-year-old’s potential.

On Busted Open Radio, the 15-time WWE champion noted that Breakker knows much more about the business than many newcomers. He added that the young star is like Randy Orton in a way, as he seems to have wrestling in his blood.

"A year or two ago, I did a 6 or 8-week thing with [Bron Breakker]," Nemeth. The former World Heavyweight Champion expected to be battered by the rookie star but was pleasantly surprised with Breakker's aptitude for pro wrestling. "I was blown away that he was picking it up so quickly and so smart about things that you shouldn't be smart about yet and ... it's probably like Randy [Orton] where it's in your blood to have these reactions."

Nemeth also praised the chemistry between Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn during their recent feud. The rivalry led to Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship win at SummerSlam.

"Breakker seeming like he's been there for 10 years at [age] 26 is really annoying," Nemeth admitted. "Because it's like he's 'good' and I'm like, 'Come on man, you should be learning at this point.'" [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Nic Nemeth praised Bron Breakker’s unique ability to power out during the final moments of a pinfall. It’s something that Randy Orton has also perfected over the years.

Randy Orton could work with Bron Breakker in WWE

Many dream matches are awaiting Randy Orton in WWE. One such match could take place very soon, according to Nic Nemeth.

On the Busted Open Radio, Nemeth discussed the possibility of Bron Breakker winning the Royal Rumble in 2025 or 2026. He added that this could lead to a main event match between Randy Orton and the 26-year-old at WrestleMania.

"What pops into my head easily is a 2025, 2026 Royal Rumble winner, main eventing WrestleMania... Him and Randy - Randy p***es me off so much 'cause he's so good and it's just in his body, I hate that stuff - the potential, 100% I see is possibly there, eventually you do need to see a different layer or two that actually pays off. And Randy, for the longest time, even when he wasn't trying and in trouble and didn't care, he was always still accidentally so in his blood that it happened whether he wanted it to or not," said the former WWE star.

It would be incredible to see Breakker defeat The Viper on The Grandest Stage of Them All. He already has his sights on retiring John Cena, and he could do the same for Randy Orton.
