17-time WWE champion is guaranteed to return and win the 2025 Royal Rumble Match, says Vince Russo

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo has made a bold prediction about the upcoming Royal Rumble. The premium live event will be emanating from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 1, 2025.

Several top WWE stars will be lining up to be part of the Royal Rumble match with the winner getting the opportunity to challenge for the title of his/her choice in the main event of WrestleMania 41. One star who could be a part of the marquee battle royal will be The Rock. The Final had promised Cody Rhodes that he would return for his title in the near future and there would be no better time to return than the Royal Rumble bout.

This week on Legion of RAW, Russo predicted that The Rock would win the Men's Royal Rumble match. He made the prediction based on his understanding of how the creative team has been booking current storylines heading into the end of the year.

"I'm just gonna leave it with this. What's today's date? Write this down everybody November 4th. I said this on this show a couple of weeks ago. I'm gonna say it once, we're gonna let it lay. The Rock is winning the Royal Rumble. Leave it alone." [From 24:00 onwards]

The Rock already has a stellar record in the WWE. He won the Royal Rumble match back in 2000. He is also a 10-time World Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, and five-time Tag Team Champion amounting to a stellar 17 championships in the company.

It will be interesting to see if the Final Boss does show up at the Royal Rumble and goes on to win the whole match.
