17-time WWE champion may return during Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' match at Bad Blood, says veteran (Exclusive)
A longtime wrestling veteran has predicted that a 17-time WWE champion could return at Bad Blood during Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' tag team match against The Bloodline. Former WWE writer Vince Russo believes that The Rock will make his return in Atlanta this Saturday.
There have been hints that The Final Boss could make his first appearance since the RAW after WrestleMania 40. The Hollywood star has been busy with his acting career, but it seems like there's a chance for him to come back at Bad Blood, especially with the tag team match reportedly main eventing the PLE.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show on Sportskeeda's Backstage Pass, Vince Russo explained why The Great One will be back soon.
"I want to add a wildcard to this, which is why Cody and Roman might be on last. They've been dropping some hints that a certain somebody may be showing up during that match. And if that happens, you know it's gotta be last," Russo said.
It will be interesting to see if The Rock will return at Bad Blood and react to the unlikely partnership of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. It will also be Reigns' first match since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 to Rhodes.
