2 huge WWE stars are probably angry after Triple H's decision for Bad Blood, says ex-WWE host

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has decided to have The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) vs. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns tag team encounter as the main event for Bad Blood. Meanwhile, a former WWE host has claimed that the decision has probably angered two top superstars.

The wrestlers in question are none other than Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. The two have been involved in arguably the hottest feud in the Stamford-based company this year. After exchanging victories at SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin, The Best in The World and The Scottish Warrior will go head-to-head inside Hell in a Cell tonight at Bad Blood. While many expected them to headline the show, the bitter rivals will open the PLE in Atlanta.

Speaking on his The Wrestling Matt podcast, former RAW Talk host Matt Camp predicted that the Triple H-led creative team's decision to have the Hell in a Cell Match open Bad Blood probably angered Punk and McIntyre.

"I feel pretty confident saying that Punk and Drew, if they don't main event, regardless of where it goes on the show, it's probably gonna stick with them a little bit. Probably gonna p**s them off a little bit. It's not bad to have that competitive fire within. It's not a bad thing. I would be mad, too," he said. [35:17-35:36]

Adam Pearce says CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's rivalry will end at WWE Bad Blood

Ahead of CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's encounter inside The Devil's Playground, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce addressed whether the bitter rivalry would continue beyond the Bad Blood PLE.

In an Instagram post, Pearce made it clear that the Hell in a Cell Match would end the heated feud between The Second City Saint and The Scottish Warrior.

"They will go to war inside this unforgiving steel, and after Saturday the war will end. Because it has to," he wrote.
