24-year-old star frustrated with Elias for winning first championship since WWE release

Elias just won his first championship since his WWE release. However, a young indie star is frustrated with the way he won it.

Sam Holloway is not happy with the ways things turned out for him at a recent show. Elias was under the WWE umbrella from 2014 to 2023. Following his release from the company, he continued to wrestle in the indies and has found success.

He returned to IWC and won the 16-bit challenge at IWC Reloaded earlier this year. This win gave him a guaranteed title shot in the future. Recently, the former WWE star teased that he would activate the reset button at the 7th Annual Pittsburg Classic on December 7. During the show, Sam Holloway defended both his Super Indy Championship and the IWC Tag Team Titles, only to have Elias activate his reset button on him. This was his first title win since he left the WWE.

Sam Holloway was frustrated with the way the night turned out for him and took to social media to demand a rematch.

"Last night, I successfully defended MY Super Indy Championship and the @IWCwrestling Tag Team titles. TWO MATCHES!! then @_Iam_Elijah_ decided to activate his reset button on ME?!? How is this allowed @IWCwrestling and when do I get my rematch!"

Matt Cardona calls for Elias to be deported

It looks like Elias has been busy making enemies for himself since he left WWE. He has been active in the Indies and has competed for several promotions such as REVOLVER, IWA, and World Series of Wrestling. He appeared at the WSW show where he took out Matt Cardona with his guitar. This move didn't please Cardona.

Following this assault, Matt Cardona took to social media to say that the former 24/7 Champion should be deported for his actions.

"[Elijah] should be deported for attacking an injured man (ME!) from behind with a guitar! @WSWWrestlingAUS," he wrote.

It will be interesting to see if and when Sam Holloway will be granted his rematch after what happened to him this weekend.
