25-year-old WWE star extends massive undefeated streak; hasn't lost in 4 months
A promising young star just defended her title on WWE NXT. In doing so, she managed to extend her undefeated streak to four months.
Kelani Jordan is one of the most promising stars on WWE NXT. She has quickly made a name for herself by making it to the finals of the Breakout tournament. But she didn't stop there. Kelani managed to become the first-ever NXT Women's North American Champion.
Since then, she has been unstoppable in the ring and has been on a winning streak in singles matches for four months, with her last loss coming on the May 7 episode of WWE NXT against Fallon Henley.
Tonight, Jordan had another challenger in the form of Wren Sinclair after the latter slapped her across the face last week. Sinclair managed to hold her own against the champion. She brought the fight and even came close to winning on a few occasions, which even got Myles Borne and Tavion Heights excited.
However, the turning point happened when Sinclair went for a crossbody and landed on Borne and Heights instead. This allowed Kelani Jordan to pick up the win and retain her title.
It will be interesting to see if Kelani Jordan will be able to continue her winning streak in the months ahead.
