25-year-old WWE star loses tooth during a match

WWE is gearing up to close the year with a bang, with only a few premium live events left before the company enters a new year. Meanwhile, popular star Shiloh Hill lost a tooth mid-match on NXT Level Up.

The superstars of tomorrow in the developmental system have been working hard to hone their skills inside the square circle. With this, an injury or two is natural as superstars put their bodies on the line for entertainment every week.

On the recent tapings for WWE NXT Level Up, the 25-year-old WWE star went head-to-head with Gallus' Mark Coffey. During the match, a Bullhammer from Coffey not only knocked the lights out but Hill's tooth as well.

The match was taped earlier this month and was recently televised after Friday Night SmackDown. In 2022, Shiloh Hill signed with WWE and has been training to become a superstar on the developmental brand.

WWE could reportedly axe NXT Level-Up

A few years ago, the developmental brand hit a soft reboot, which marked the end of the Black and Gold era. NXT 2.0. became the new version for the superstars of tomorrow in the coming years.

In 2022, the company also introduced NXT Level Up, which acts as a platform for superstars to become TV-ready before working on the developmental brand. The show had over 100 episodes, and it could reportedly end in the coming months.

Earlier this month, it was reported that NXT Level Up could be axed by the Stamford-based promotion. The reason behind its end was the end of the promotion's contract with Hulu.

However, Fightful Select wasn't able to confirm the rumors. Their sources haven't confirmed the rumors, and it'll be interesting to see what the company does next with the one-hour show in the coming months.

One source stated it would be a mistake to cancel the show, as it allows talent to get ready before performing on NXT. It's currently unclear if the show will continue in the coming year.
