25-year-old WWE star thanks Ava's aide for setting up spectacular return after 8 months

This week’s WWE live event saw the long-awaited return of a 25-year-old star. Notably, the wrestler had been off television due to an injury hiatus for eight months. Interestingly, while she received cheers from the crowd, she also thanked Ava’s aide Robert Stone for making her comeback possible. The star in question is Nikkita Lyons.

The developmental wrestler suffered a torn ACL and meniscus back in January 2023. While she initially returned in December, she unfortunately tore her ACL again in February 2024. Finally, she made her return to the ring once again on September 27, 2024, to win a mixed tag team match alongside Dante Chen to defeat Izzi Dame and Jasper Troy.

Nikkita Lyons posted a tweet on X celebrating her comeback with her fans and thanking them for their love and support. Interestingly, WWE NXT General Manager Ava’s aide, Robert Stone responded to the tweet and said that it was a pleasure to arrange her comeback. Replying to this, Lyons thanked Stone for his efforts.

"Thank you🙏🏼🥹✨."

While Nikkita Lyons is finally back and will try to make a lasting impression this time, the WWE Universe is awaiting the return of another superstar.

Charlotte Flair sends a warning amid WWE absence

Charlotte Flair is also one of the superstars currently on an injury hiatus. The 14-time WWE women’s champion tore her meniscus, MCL, and ACL on December 8, 2023. She recently sent a warning to the opponent who fought with her during the match that left her injured. The name in question is Asuka, who is also unfortunately on an injury hiatus.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka have heavily intertwined careers, with both of them having held the women’s championship multiple times during their storied rivalry. The two have worked together for some time as well, but their ambitiousness always pits them against each other. The Japanese pro wrestler recently celebrated her 43rd birthday on September 26, 2024.

The Queen sent her a message via a tweet talking about their rivalry as well as their friendship. In response, the Damage CTRL member just seemed to focus on the positive aspect. However, Flair brought the focus of their conversation back onto the rivalry part and sent her a warning.

“We sure do, but when we meet again, don’t go easy. I sure won’t 😉😘,” wrote Flair.

So far, there has been no confirmation as to when The Queen could make her return. But, despite being away, Charlotte Flair seems to have her eye on everything that’s going on in the company. It would be interesting to see her make a big comeback just like Nikkita Lyons.
