26-year-old star teased as Sami Zayn's SummerSlam opponent after brutal assault on RAW

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn walked out of Money in the Bank a victorious man. In Canada on Monday Night RAW, his potential SummerSlam opponent was teased as the star brutally assaulted Zayn.

Sami Zayn retained his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker. Since WrestleMania alone, he has overcome Gunther, Chad Gable, 'Big' Bronson Reed, and more recently, the impressive Bron Breakker.

Sami Zayn was confronted by Bron Breakker, who lost for the first time since joining the main roster. The 26-year-old appeared to be a humbled man, and in the middle of his line, he cut himself off to spear Sami Zayn.

Not only this, but after being separated by security, producers, and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, he distracted Pearce and speared Sami again.

It was a brutal assault from the two-time NXT Champion, who looks like he's targeting the Intercontinental Championship gold once again at Summerslam 2024.

The only question that remains is whether Sami will have it in him to retain his title again. Many believe that if a rematch takes place, Bron Breakker will win the title. However, Sami has been a top-tier player since WrestleMania and has truly stepped up in a big way.

It remains to be seen how the Underdog from the Underground will deal with the young star.
